Cat in Arizona

Welcome to my story of the first days of my transition from the cool temperatures of Northern California to the dry desert heat of Central Arizona.  The official move was in August – the hottest on record, I might add – when heat grabs your ankles like a lead weight as your feet soak the buildup from concrete and asphalt.  Sometimes an early morning cool breeze offsets the sun massage while walking.  But not always.

The sub pages were originally published on my mac.com blog.  My regular WordPress blog posts carry my story after my husband and I settled in our new home.
